Katharina Hennig, is currently the most successful German cross-country skier and Olympian. Katharina is in excellent early form and has just sent a strong signal for the 2022 Winter Olympics with her podium finish in Ruka, Finland.

Cross-country skiing is the supreme discipline of endurance sports, almost every muscle of the body is needed for efficient movement on two skis. This results in high energy consumption and very high oxygen uptake. Thus, cross-country skiing is also an interesting training stimulus for cyclists, triathletes or runners. 

In the expert talk, Katharina and Robert discuss what to look out for when eating in winter sports and what the differences are between training in warm and cold temperatures, for example. The webinar also provides amateur athletes with concrete catering strategies for various training sessions.
