Our speaker Robert Gorgos is not only an absolute expert when it comes to sports nutrition science – he is also still active as a competitive athlete. At the same time, as a nutrition expert, he looks after many well-known top athletes from various disciplines. And: Robert developed our sports nutrition products from Ministry of Nutrition .

We are also particularly looking forward to our second guest, sports scientist Dr. Sebastian Zeller. After his studies, Sebastian lectured for many years at the German Sport University in performance physiology, triathlon and training science. Today, the former triathlete and co-founder of ProAthletes passes on his knowledge to professional athletes. However, he has remained true to his passion for teaching: Through his various knowledge formats, he has earned a reputation for being able to make complex interrelationships from sports science understandable to a broad public like no other.

In endurance sports, high training volumes and targeted intensities are associated with targeted adaptations to achieve increased performance. However, the fact that “more” or “harder” does not always enable the desired adjustments and can instead have dangerous consequences becomes particularly apparent when it is actually already too late: In overtraining.

But what actually is overtraining, what delineations can be formulated to targeted fatigue and what factor does nutrition play in this? Dr. Sebastian Zeller and Robert Gorgos approach these questions in our upcoming webinar. And to prevent exhaustion or even injuries from occurring in the first place, we will introduce you to methods for early detection of overtraining from a sports science perspective.
